Barets and Perfume

Last weekend I headed to Grand Junction with my sisters, two nieces and nephew. It was going to be an interesting weekend. Two infants and a toddler for five hours in a car was actually not bad. The babies slept most of the time on the way up there. My brother from Provo was coming out too and we were all excited. (My family is very close) We got to the hotel after a sickening travel over the snowy mountains. Shortly after that we went to my aunts and visited with family. I also got to see my grandma and grandpa on my dads side. It has been several years since I have seen them. My Grandma is looking great these days! She has lost quite a bit of weight! Her and I are working on it!
Saturday was full of swimming and fun. My brother Nick, his lady friend Megan, and my parents came out. We had a surprise B-Day party for my mom since we were all there. We got her a cake and indoor skydiving certificate! She was excited. She has always wanted to go sky diving, but promised my dad she wouldn't. Well an indoor experience is much safer. So here she comes!
The reception was nice and the cake was frosted blue. My nephew turned into a smurf. So CUTE! I danced with my nieces and visited with people. It was so fun. Then we all cleaned up. My nephew saw everyone cleaning and he wanted to help so I had him push chairs to the overflow area and one chair at a time he did it, on his own with no one instructing him. I think he managed to get four chairs over there. That is pretty good for such a little guy. He will be three on the 30th I cant believe it!
Sunday we went to my Aunts and visited. It was getting late and we were going to leave soon when my Grandma called me over. She asked if I had time to do her a favor. I agreed before I knew what it was. Mistake #1. Then she said like it was important that she needed me to run to Wal-Mart. I said sure thinking that she needed medication. Then she said and get me a baret, a few actually. And if you can one of them needs to be black and white checkered. I almost burst out laughing it was ridiculous. So my Mom and I got into the car and headed out for Wal-Mart. We managed to get lost and fustrated over a silly hat. All I could do was laugh. Are you serious all this is happening over a baret? Then Wal-Mart didnt have any... so I got her a black and white striped hat made my Miley Cyrus. Got to love her. By the time we got back it was 5:00pm and we really needed to get home, so we left. Tuesday I found a baret at Wal-Mart, it was a dollar. But I think I will tease my Dearly Sainted Grandmama and tell her it was $42.00 but there was a sale and if I bought two it was only $100.00 so I decided to buy two, the deal was too good to pass up. Ill let her think about that, she will probably call me an idiot and I will get a good laugh out of it. What do you think?
On the way home we were at a Wendy's in Eagle Colorado. There were perfume sales men that my sister was convinced were selling drugs. I didnt see it. They tried to sell perfume and we said we werent interested. He said that he thought so with the kids and all. Then I said that we have people that are allergic to it and he said yeah thats what I thought. For some crazy reason we were there for an hour and a half. Anyways we got home safe and sound. And perfume free. Kaylee screamed most of the way home. Poor baby she is 6 months old and so over sitting in a car seat that much.
