Last week got pretty boring after Monday. I didn’t see Pirate Boy until Thursday at ward game night. We were on different teams in every game and so I didn’t really get to talk to him. But we chatted a little; I’m talking like three maybe four sentences. He looked good and was dressed well. I showed up in sweats and a t-shirt. Go figure. Why would I dress up for sport night? Friday I actually went to Star wars Movie night. I was hoping that Pirate Boy would be there but he wasn’t. The entire movie (Episode 3) I was thinking about everything else that I could be doing instead. But I stayed anyways. Then I stayed about half an hour into Episode 4. I had to leave. All I could think about was everything else I could be doing.

Saturday I headed down to Colorado Springs to hang out with an old friend, let’s give him the nickname of Springs Boy. Anyway we used to be really really close and then something’s happened and a ton of heart breaks and year’s later things are looking up. In fact Saturday was the first time since 2006 when we met that I had a 100% pleasant time with him. I didn’t feel angry, sad, mad, insecure, and nervous. After struggling for awhile he is the man he was when we met, better than him actually. I like to think that I have changed for the better too. I got there about for and we hung out for an hour. Then I went home teaching with him and stopped by an activity at the church. It was man-richment. I decided not to go, so I sat on the couch in the foyer and studied my talk for Sunday. After that we went to see an independent film called To Save A Life. It was so good. It really made me think about how we really treat people. I think everyone going into High School, College, or work, actually everyone, everyone should see this movie. Then we got some food and went back to his house. I chatted with Mom and Dad for awhile and then we watched this music video thing…I can’t remember the name… It was interesting that is for sure. Then I made the trek home chatting away with my lovely friend Stepehnie.

Oh girl... this is why we are best friends!

Stephenie, I love you! Pretty lady!
Sunday was a good day and I got to know Pirate Boy a little more. He is such an example to all the members. If he doesn’t know someone he will walk up and say hello. He also is taking learning the Gospel seriously. He wants to learn more before he will get baptized. I admire all the thought he is putting into it. He also knows how to bring the spirit back into things. So we were going around Sunday school talking about one thing that happened last week. Everyone was saying their stupid things and he busts out with “I had a profound spiritual experience last night.” He brought things back to what they really are about. The Gospel. So that was fun. I also learned that he has his own house and own company. He distributes rare music. I am excited to learn more about that.
I obviously like him, but seeing as I am going back to school in April, I am just excited for his friendship. I think a lot of the attraction is that he is so mysterious because I have not been able to sit down and talk to him, so I don't really know him. I am hoping to get to know him better soon.

Natalie is looking nervous... Love it!!

She is so pretty!
The best part of Sunday was talking to Natalie for two hours. It was so great catching up with her! She is amazing and such a wonderful friend.
