Everyone has their thing...

I didn’t realize how much I missed Brittani until we are not living together. I am so thankful that we have stayed in touch and that we are able to email often. She is the sunshine on a rainy day in my life.
Ok well this week was good. I went to FHE on Monday night and Pirate Boy showed up late with the Elders. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him, but later the Elders invited me to come to a discussion with them at his house. I would have to get off work early which is not a big deal. Now remember up to this point I have not spoken more than five sentences with him. I am a ward missionary so of course I agreed. We watched to new Joseph Smith movie and I was so excited because I haven’t seen it before and have wanted to for a long time. We then talked for another hour and a half. It was good the Elders and Pirate boy had been doing a 24 hour fast. I really felt like I needed to ask him if he would like to visit the Temple. He agreed to go and I was excited, but nervous because I don’t know everything about the Temple. We decided to go on Thursday after work. Thursday during lunch I felt that I needed to go to the Temple and ask them if they have anyone that could talk to Pirate Boy. They have people that do tours which was neat I didn’t know that they did that here in Denver. The car ride was not awkard at all like I thought it would be. We talked about everything and I got to know him a lot better. Like favorite color, hunter green, what he likes to do, what environments he likes to be in, he was in the army, has a good heart, and owns 12 guinea pigs! Ok so everyone has their own thing. They are precious and he is so cute with them. I even got to name one. Her name is Ginger. She has red and brown fur. We also go to talk about more Gospel related things too. Then we went to the game night at the church and when I took him home we talked a little more. I really hope that he gets the answers to his prayers soon! He is searching and learning so much about the Gospel.
